I became fascinated with the star ornaments made from six squares. They look really cool made out of stained glass. I thougth the best way to learn the geometry would be to make them. I don’t have any stained glass, but I do have computer processors.
The whole experience was an exercise in gluing and clamping, and re-gluing. The connection is really fragile, but once it’s assembled, it’s still pretty fragile. Any good bump makes them fall apart and when gluing another processor to the project, another one might fall off. I might have reglued the pieces almost as much as gluing them the first time.
BTW, 527 glue seemed to work best.
The stars are beautiful! You are an artist…but more important you have amazing patience!!
