I wrote the first version of this back in 2006. After buying an Ibanez 8-string, I updated it in 2009 to have options of four to eight strings. You can select the root and any intervals for the chord. You can also choose what colors the intervals show up in by clicking on the color preview square under the note buttons. Click the fretboard at the bottom to fill in the chord chart in the middle. You can also customize the tuning of your instrument.
Nowadays, I only use it when I’m practicing my scales. Below is the A minor pentatonic that I click down the fretboard for different positions of the scale to practice.
