This is a rewrite of my first Android app – a Harpo Marx soundbox. I sampled Harpo’s horn and whistles from several movies. I don’t own anything but the code, so I can’t really post it in any app store.
This began when people gave me a hard time because I don’t like to talk in the mornings. So I bought a small horn so I could just honk at them. Then I realized that I could just write my own app and wouldn’t have to carry around anything more than I already do.
I highly recommend Harpo’s memoirs Harpo Speaks, which is still in print. I’ve bought several copies for gifts. Any book by Groucho is precious. And, of course, Marx brothers movies are classic and anyone not familiar with them is an uncivilized heathen.
I’m not going to walk you through how to install an APK on your device. Their are plenty of pages out there that can help better than I.
